Two new Images with three previous ones – Winter Scenes

I thought I’d combine two new images – for the first time – with some older shots.

BLUE JAY waiting for the FEEDER

My wife and I enjoy the morning when this good looking Blue Jay arrives for his feeding. He’s not a bully but Sparrows, in particular, tend to fly up into the tree when he drops to the ground.

The Apprehensive Blue Jay

This Blue Jay is posted on my sales site @ Dan De Ment Fine Art.  Perhaps showcasing our work on our blog’s once in a while will generate more interest – as a group – and line up a few more followers.  It’s worth a shot!  This post is not a sales pitch … it’s a suggestion to create more followers only!

Cardinals and Blue Jay enjoy Fresh Snow at the Feeders

We had a three inch snow on 2/26/2015.  These were some of the first birds to arrive at the Feeders.  We are expecting 3-6 more inches March 1, 2015. (All we need is another snow.)

Fussy, the Blue Jay

Fussy is a piecea work.  If we throw ten peanuts out he’ll pick up each one and test it before he ever decides which one to eat first.  When he comes back he starts the whole process over.

Blue Jay on a Trellis

I captured this image while this beautiful Blue Jay sat looking for peanuts from its vantage point on the trellis just off our deck.
