I shot this image this morning.  I added just a touch of, “saturation,” to the changing leaves. It, inadvertently, made the power pole almost presentable – for a change.

Ribbon Grass Opens Overnight

The Ribbon Grass Plumes on this grass, in our front yard, appeared this morning.  Yesterday, as night fell, the plumes were only about half the size you see here.  Nature has a way of presenting in her own way.

I believe this was shot in the Spring of 2016 but perhaps this Spring. Remember, my Point and Shoot’s date and time stamp feature has stopped working.  It’s set, forever, on December 1979.
