Resting above the Feeder

soitary male cardinal at the feeder_edited-1_wm

As you know, I love Cardinals and show them often … I’ll continue to do so.  This handsome fella was awaiting another turn on the feeder below.  Something caught his attention just as I snapped his image.

It’ been a while since I last posted.  I do plan to load a few images, available via PayPal, as I stated in my last post.  It has just been kind of slow around here lately.

Cardinals Feeding through a heavy Snow

I shot this image the same morning I shot the Snowy Fur Tree image below.  The Cardinals seemed only slightly disturbed by the heavy snow and continued to feed – more and more Cardinals moved in after I shot this image.

Cardinals and Blue Jay enjoy Fresh Snow at the Feeders

We had a three inch snow on 2/26/2015.  These were some of the first birds to arrive at the Feeders.  We are expecting 3-6 more inches March 1, 2015. (All we need is another snow.)

Cardinals – Let’s Eat!

I shot this image the other afternoon.  It’s amazing how many Cardinals have been coming to our feeders at the same time each day.  There’s always at least 15 showing up together.  It’s really neat!  I shot this with my Canon Power shot A590IS but took some others with my DSLR which I’ll be loading on Fine Art America.
